Gary Peterson first visited Summit County in 1973 on the recommendation of a friend and returned to stay a few months later.  Over the last 25 years he has invested many hours repairing and maintaining the Baldy FM radio and television translators, and also the power line running up to the site.  Summit Public Radio and Television has grown and expanded under his care.

Summit Public Radio is indebted to Gary for his enthusiasm and expertise in resolving technological problems as they arise.  He presently serves as the organization’s Vice President of Engineering & Site Management.
