Webcam Installed on Baldy Mountain
August 19, 2010

A webcam has been installed at our electronics site on Baldy Mountain.  It is mounted to one of our antenna towers and points approximately north towards Frisco and Silverthorne.  It is in operation during daylight hours.  You can use it to see what the weather is like in Summit County.  The sunrises and sunsets are fantastic!

The camera takes still images every 10 seconds and posts them to our website.  We felt this was fast enough since not too much is moving around up there.  You can see the images on our website here: http://www.summitpublicradio.org/site/netcam2.html

Send the address out to your friends and relative who don't live in the County and share the beauty of where we live with them.
